Often it’s helpful to include an equation enclosed inside a box, either for emphasis or to set it apart from the surrounding data.

To do this, first create a 1-by-1 matrix.

In the matrix dialog box, click in the preview pane outside the matrix on all four sides.

В диалоговом окне матриц щелкните в области предварительного просмотра матрицы по всем четырём сторонам.

This will insert solid lines around the matrix.

В результате вокруг матрицы будут вставлены сплошные линии.

If you want the lines to be dashed, click twice.

If you want them dotted, click three times. Click once more to remove a line.
